Movement for Change is organising a training session on political narratives and community organising for Welsh Labour women in Cardiff.
Movement for Change will be delivering a full day of training focusing on the essential tools of organising – from using 1-2-1 meetings to develop strong public relationships, to taking action on an issue.
The training will be held on Saturday, May 18th and will run from 10am until 4pm. Lunch will be provided. The training will cover:
- Building relationships through 1-2-1 meetings
- Developing your personal political stories
- Finding issues that matter in communities
- Strategising to develop your organisation and make change
This will be a great session whether you are looking to develop local organisations to run campaigns, run actions on local issues or if you are considering standing as a candidate for Labour.
Movement for Change has run successful campaigns across the country on things like problem landlords, access to fair credit and women’s safety at night.
The session will be engaging, participative and fun! And, as well as lunch, drinks and refreshments will be provided throughout.
