M4C Intensive Training Weekend

Movement for Change, the home of community organising in the Labour movement, is holding its third residential organiser school on the weekend of 1-3 March 2012.
This weekend will be an intensive training course in the core skills of community organising. Topics covered will include:
- Building community relationships
- Campaign strategy and tactics
- Telling your story to motivate others
- Developing a leadership development plan
You will leave with practical tools for organising community campaigns and a plan for your own development. Whether you are a new activist or an experienced organiser this course will provide an opportunity to develop your skills and learn from others. Participants will also be able to access ongoing support from the Movement for Change organiser team.
Places are strictly limited and open to all Labour members and trade union members referred by their union. The cost of the weekend is £200. This cost covers all meals and accommodation in your own room. This cost covers all meals and accommodation in your own double room. A limited number of lower-priced tickets of £100 are available for people who are out of work, students or those on low income. Movement for Change is a membership organisation and our members are entitled to a range of discounts, priority bookings and other benefits.
